I was able to chat with Dr. King recently about BWE and the background on why she started it.

Ervin: First thanks for your time! As we highlight women during Women's History month, I am honored to learn a little more about you and your work. Why did you start this platform?

Dr. King: Eleven years ago I stepped out on faith and started this platform online to empower women  and now we manage a variety of platforms with different audiences and over four million followers all together. From South Africa to Kenya and Indonesia, we are reaching people all over the globe.

Ervin: This is amazing and I enjoy seeing your posts online. Who helps you manage your platforms?

Dr. King: Most people don’t know that I manage it all myself and I actually have another client that I manage their social media as well. I share lots of content and schedule lots of posts as well as pre-record interviews so that I always have something to share with the various audiences we reach.

Ervin: I am very impressed! I know you have served on many boards and have won some awards. I’d like to list those as a part of this story to show your extensive background.

Dr. King has had a life of service having served on many boards including; The College of New Jersey Non Traditional Jobs for Women, The Mercer County Child Placement Review Board, the Middlesex County Gender and Equity Board, PSEG Speakers Bureau and Diversity Council, The Mayor of Newark New Jersey’s Diversity Council, Ewing Township General Assistance Board, National Alliance for Mental Illness NAMI, One Step Further and Transitioning Minds. Dr. King: We have various levels of memberships and access in which we host interviews with high level business people in the areas of real estate, finance, health and wellness, inspiration, social media,  entrepreneurship and more. I graduated from Cornerstone Christian Bible College International with Dr. Matthew Knowles and we work together online doing interviews and sharing a variety of content. We share daily inspirational messages and in the future will do a television station
